Course Description
Our CPCAB endorsed course is a specialist 2-day CPD course and is underpinned by child development, drawing development and art therapy theory. It will support participants to identify and understand nonverbal expressions of concern in children and young people Learners will: - learn creative techniques to build non- leading and non-directive facilitation skills, enabling children to tell their story in their own way and in their own time - gain a good working knowledge of children’s drawing development and it’s importance in supporting at risk children - learn how to set up a safe creative therapeutic space to support children and young people who may be at risk - gain a greater understanding of how children and young people may non verbally disclose through art making or play - deepen their own creative process and confidence through taking part in a range experiential exercises Learners will take away at least 2 creative therapeutic exercises that they can use with children and young people The Course is 15 hours over 2 days (7 hours per day, 1 hour homework) Cost: Self-funded £190 Employer-funded £240 Payment via invoice

Cancellation Policy
The Centre for Creative Therapeutic Practice (TCCTP) Refund and Cancellation Guidance Policy and Conditions Joining information for all of TCCTP's courses will normally be sent 1-week prior to the start date - please check your junk & spam folders if you have not seen this information - contacting the office on the day or evening before the start date will not always be responded to prior to the course starting. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to hello@tcctp.org. Cancellations made one month or before will be refunded in full minus £10 administration fee. Less than one month but more than 14 days before the course will be charged at 50%. Less than 14 days' notice will be fully chargeable. Please Note • Programmes are subject to change. • It is the attendees responsibility to check their email including junk and spam folders for joining details. • There is a possibility that the course/event may be cancelled due to insufficient numbers, unforeseen circumstances, or force majeure. In the case of insufficient numbers or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be offered. In the case of force majeure such as the Coronavirus pandemic, alternative dates will be offered. If these dates are not suitable, a partial refund will be offered taking into account cost of overheads • If TCCTP offer face-2-face training - Please do not book any travel or accommodation until you have received confirmation of your booking from TCCTP. We will not be liable for this cost in the event you are not booked onto the course/event. • Where fees for attendees are being paid by a third party (e.g. employer). TCCTP will endeavour to collect the course fee through invoicing. However, where the third party fails to make payment, the course attendee will remain liable for said fees if cancellation is not made on time within our terms (see cancellation our policy above).
